Doll house Club's time is changed this week due to the Pow Wow.

Siuslaw Elementary Schools Pow Wow is this Saturday. We are not going to compete and have doll house club at the same time. I will be at the Pow wow mehndi glittering and watching the wonderful dancing and drumming. If you are able to be there, grand entry is at 1pm. It is a wonderful ceremony. If you are one of my doll house people, please let me know a time you would like to come and work on your doll house, or I will see you the following Saturday.

March calendar is ready for viewing.

The March calendar is now posted for Dragon Art. Some features are the Saturday Doll house club, and our spring break sessions. Remember that texting me at 541-999-6451 can get you an appointment to events.

Thanks to a generous donation. The string is now included in our Thursday night weaving club. (At least until we run out, which won't be for awhile.) Let me know that you are coming so that we have an inkle loom ready for you. The club runs Thursday's, from 6pm-8pm, and costs $10 per week for the first 10 times. After that the cost goes down to $5. a week. We will teach you how to use the loom, and show you some simple patterns for what to do with the material you make.

Doll house club starts Saturday

Doll house club starts Saturday. I am very excited, I only plan classes I want to take. The clubs are getting to be more fun every week. My favorites are writing and doll making,(Even if my dolls are a little scary) but the doll house might be the best yet. We'll see. I have plans to auction mine off to save our store front. Benjamin Cahoon, a high school student, took first place in Dragon Arts December Contest for his dragon drawing. Now the Siuslaw student will have an art show to show case all of the projects he has been working on. Saturday from 4-6pm, Dragon Art will host a reception for Ben to help him start off the two week run of his show. To see Ben's unique artwork come to Dragon Art.
